There are several things to update you on this month:
Trash to Treasure Sale Report
The total made from the October TTT sale was $882. For comparison, last year we made $1,231. In 2024 it was $1,165 and only $734 in 2023.
I think $882 is a great take for the smaller crowd that we had. Last year we also had several more higher priced items.
Some of this is going to be spent quite soon buying more quilt backing fabric for the veterans quilts. You are are making them at a fast pace and we love that!
November Meeting and Sewing Days
The meeting is Tuesday, November 10 at 7pm. Marcy, Estelle and Margaret will be sharing some tips and techniques to easily cover books. They will have their own samples to spark ideas for you just in time for making gifts.
Sewing Days are November 18 & 19. Bring your machine and sew one or both days on any project that you like. The room is usually open at 9:00 am but arrive whenever you want. Bring your lunch and enjoy 1 or 2 days of escape from home!
