Up and coming, April, 9, 12, & 13th

Thanks to Denise for a really fun and informative program in March. I think we all learned a lot from her great notes and lovely show and tell details! So glad she posted her son's quilt, too! Looking forward to future quilts!

On April 8th, hope you can join Sharon G. for some new ideas she has for our scrap quilts. Knowing how organized and prolific a quilter she is, I'm already inspired that she'll share some of her experience with us.

Also, if you have some 4" squares, it's not too late; bring them in for Gwendolyn to continue with her block of the month quilt ideas. You may bring them on Tuesday or on our sewing days, April 12th or 13th.

Please do join in on the fun! Now that we have more daylight, it's so much fun to quilt in the light!
Regards,
Marcy

Estelle Porter's Fiber Art Exhibit!

Evening Egrets

Estelle Porter is an accomplished fiber artist with strong ties to Randolph-Macon College.  Her fiber art is the culmination of training in a variety of media.  She incorporates painting, drawing, photography and printing along with fiber art techniques to achieve a variety of surface design effects on cloth.  Recent work reflects her rediscovery of family connections to the Greek island of Kythera.
