Estelle Porter's Exhibit

It was a great time at Randolph Macon yesterday for the opening of Estelle Porter's Quiltworks exhibit. Estelle was thrilled to have all of the prep work done and finally be able to simply enjoy the exhibit with patrons, friends and family.

There was a large crowd with mots of CSQ members and friends attending. Following I'm going to share some photos of the quilts in the exhibit but first want to let you know that if you missed it the exhibit will be up through the end of May.

Quilts on Display

Two quilts made for veterans by members of Country School Quilters are hung in the hall to the library at The Montpelier Center for Arts & Education. We try to change the quilts every couple of months and these two are sure to brighten the hallway. Thanks to everyone for donating fabric, sewing, quilting, and binding quilts for our veterans.  We have started 2019 off with a lot of quilts - we might set a new record. Thank you and keep them coming!
