April Program on the 10th, Friday/Saturday sewing days April 13th & 14th

Despite seeing goldfinches in my yard, the weather folks predict possible SNOW this weekend?! Yikes! Thank goodness we have a fun program to look forward to on Tuesday, April 10th. By popular demand, we are covering 4 topics -- English Paper Piecing, Pattern Designing, Applique, and Foundation Paper Piecing. These will be brief presentations by willing discussion leaders (probably 15 minutes each), and you can choose 2 topics to attend. I also was told by each of the leaders that if there is interest, a more hands-on coverage of these topics can be held at an agreed-upon "sewing day", so make your wishes known!! We are so lucky to have so much talent and generosity among us.

Since our next sewing days will be the following Friday and Saturday, we can certainly discuss some future scheduling, while the ideas are fresh in our minds. Also, thanks to so many contributions of blocks for BINGO, let's figure out how to divide these blocks among us and get some Veterans Quilts working. (I think I counted close to 50 blocks provided!)

Looking forward to seeing everyone Tuesday!
