Another update on sewing days

It turns out I didn’t have complete information when I made the previous post about our October sewing days.  There are a few other things you need to know:

Hanover County will be sending out an email in the next couple of days, with information about their requirements for our “event”.  Even if you have already contacted Becky (thank you!) you will also need to register through the link provided by the county.  If you are unable to register in advance, you will be asked to fill out the registration form when you arrive, assuming that there is still space.

A Hanover County employee will be at sewing days to check in participants and to take temperatures at the door.  You will also be asked the standard list of questions about Covid (so please stay home if you are sick or have been around someone who is sick!)  The county has been informed that people come and go all day, so their employee will probably stay all day and just work in the kitchen.

County employees will be coming on Thursday to set up the tables with appropriate spacing.

If you are uncomfortable being around folks who are not wearing masks, please note that they are not required for this event.  Hanover County suggests that participants wear masks, especially for coming and going and when you will be less than 6 feet from others.  However, I asked specifically and participants are not required to wear a mask all day.  You may want to sort yourselves into a no-mask side of the room and a mask side of the room if this is an issue!

As always, you are welcome to bring your lunch. 😊

Please let me know if you need any more information.
