Good day, all! As was briefly hinted at last month’s meeting, the Hanover Patks & Rec’s building is in use for “camp” activity and voting activity during our scheduled days in June, and therefore, regrettably we will cancel our monthly activities! ( You now have time to finish and send in your entries for our show going up in September! Please get the form and take a picture and send to Estelle!) I am posting here and on FB, but please help me get the word out if you know someone who does not access the internet!!
During June, let’s set ourselves a challenge to have lots to show and tell in July! Remember we will have our summer potluck, and since Betsy has some possible surgery on her knee, instead of her wonderful potholder program, I hope to share an update on our proposed crazy quilt specifics for our WHEAT quilt for next year. I hope that many of us will participate in this endeavor!!
We also have some great activities for Aug, Sept, and the rest of the year, so stay tuned and plan to join us if you are in town. Happy sewing, my friends! Marcy

As nature is showing us all of her springtime “art”, we have an art show from Studio Art Quilters Association (SAQA) to share with you! We will bring it to sewing days on May 10th and 11th for you to browse, and then on Tuesday, May 14th, we’ll have a show and vote some awards of our own. We hope you can join in on the fun! There are 58 small pieces, and you are sure to find something that inspires!
