February Meeting Notes

Our next meeting is Tuesday at 7:00 and the program is going to be about stitch resist shibori.

What's that?

 

Here are a few examples.

I'll show you how to do this technique and we will work on blocks that will be dyed and made into a Quilt of Valor.

 

I'll have fabric but please bring needle and thread (this is a great way to use old, crappy thread) and scissors.

 

Other Meeting Notes:

If you have any completed veteran's quilt you can bring them to the meeting. Becky has volunteered to store them. I'll have about 10 quilted quilts to bring ready for binding.

 

The next Friday and Saturday Sewing is February 12 and 13. Bring your project and lunch and have a fun 2 days sewing.

 

The March Meeting will be Becky Brown discussing on-point quilts.
